Reactivity: react with human VE-Cadherin. Specificity determined by

binding requires calcium. Does not react with mouse or bovine VE-Cadherin . Epitope is trypsin sensitive

Presentation: 0.1mg in 1ml (0.1mg/ml) affinity purified rabbit IgG in PBS (no preservative)
Immunogen: Recombinant protein fragments corresponding to amino acids 1-258 of VE-cadherin.
Immunogen: Antisera to human CD144 were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen.
Specificity: recognises human CD144 (also known as VE-cadherin), a 130KDa cell surface glycoprotein expressed by endothelial cells. It does not cross react with N-cadherin, which is also expressed by endothelial cells. -reported to block adhesive properties of VE-cadherin. (1)

Storage: Undiluted at -20 DEG C only. Storage in frost free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
