  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

DATA SHEET: Rabbit anti-UREASE

Catalog#: RDI-UREASEabr  $312.00/vial

Also available HRP conjugated: cat#RDI-UREASEabr-HRP  $344.00/20mg vial

                      Biotin conjugated #RDI-UREASEabr-BT   $344.00/10mg vial

Size: 50 mg (lyophilized)

Antibody Concentration: 10.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)

Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride,pH 7.2

Stablizer: None

Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide

Antigen: Urease from jack bean

Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot),ELISA, immunoprecipitation, conjugation and most immunological methods requiring high titer and specificity.

Background: Reacts with urease isolated from jack bean (Canavalia ensiformis) showing a 480kDa band under non-reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE. Enzyme can polymerize to a hexamer of 3 X 10 E06 kDa. The enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea to carbon dioxide and amonia. The antibody may also be useful to quantitate enzyme levels in assays for urea. Cross reactivity is expetced against urease of many bacteria, yeast and higher plants.

Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for applications should be determined by the researcher.

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with 5.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year from date of reconstituion.

Purity and Specificity: This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above.

Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics.
