  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Transferrin Receptor Antibodies  see also anti-CD71 antibodies

Monoclonal anti-human Transferrin Receptor

Clone: 7-1 (cat#RDI-TRK4TR26-71)

           2B6 (cat#RDI-TRK4TR26-2B6)

           5B11, 7F8, 10D2, 11F5, 13E4, 23D10  cat#RDI-TRK4TR26-####   ###=clone#)

 $438.00/mg   $406.00/mg 2-9mg,  $375.00/mg  10-20mg

These clones have been derived from hybridization of   Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of a Balb/c mice   immunized with purified transferrin receptor

Isotype: IgG2b for clone 7-1, 5B11, 10D2, 11F5, 23D10,

              IgG2a for clones 2B6, 7F8, 13E4

Purification: Protein A Sepharose Purity tested by electrophoresis

Specificity: human soluble transferrin receptor

Reactivity: Detection of human soluble transferrin receptor.

                Antibodies are working in ELISA.

              Clones 2B6, 5B11, 7F8, 10D2, 1F5, 13E4, 23D10 are working in Western blotting.

(Clone 11F5 seems best for WB)

Best recommended pairs for ELISA :

coating - detection

11F5-7F8

2B6-1F5

7F8-23D10

10D2-13E4

5B11-2B6

23D10 - 13E4     BEST Pair

PRESENTATION: Each monoclonal is delivered in a sealed vial at a concentration of 1 milligram of murine monoclonal antibody dissolved in 0.480ml (2.1mg/ml) of phosphate buffered saline containing 0.1% sodium azide. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application.

Storage: Purified monoclonal antibodies are generally stable for period at 4 0C. However repeated warming to room temperature and re-cooling may result in loss of activity and hence working titre.

FOR IN VITRO RESEARCH USE ONLY. NOT FOR USE IN OR ON HUMANS OR ANIMALS-NOT FOR DIAGNOSTICS. Not responsible for any Patent infringements with use or derivation of these products. Contains sodium azide (0.1%)- observe proper precautions.

FOR IN VITRO RESEARCH USE ONLY

Human Transferrin Receptor

CAT#: RDI-TRSFRNREC-AG     $625.00/100ug       $1125.00/0.5mg    $1500.00/1mg  - Discontinued

Source: Human placenta. Blood sample from the tissue donor was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 ,HIV-2 and HCV antibodies.

Purification: Transferrin receptor was isolated from human placenta by modified method of Anderson G.J., MacKerras A., Powell L.W. and Halliday J.W(Biochim. Biophys. Acta 884, 225-233, 1986)

Presentation: Lyophilized from 50mM HEPES pH 7.4, 1M KCL, 0.1% CHAPS, 0.01% NaN3. It is recommended that the product should be reconstituted in distilled water.

Analysis: Purity more 95% according to SDS-PAGE

Immunological activity confirmed by reaction with monoclonals which are specific to human transferrin receptor.

Storage: At -20'C in lyophilized form. After reconstitution the solution should be aliquoted and stored at- 20'C. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.

For In Vitro Research Use Only-Not for Use in or on human or animals-notfor use in diagnostics
