These clones have been derived from hybridization of X63.Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells of a Balb/c mice immunized with recombinant human interleukin-1,beta.

Reactivity: MoAb react with three different and spares determinants on IL-1 beta molecule.MoAb do not inhibit the biological activity of IL-1.

Mouse isotype: IgG2b  for clone 11E5

                        IgG2a  for clone 6E10

                        IgM    for clone 5C10

Application: Detection of IL-1 beta in two-site immunoassay.We recommend to use mixture of MoAb 6E10 and 11E5 for coating and MoAb 5C10 for labeling. Sensitivity of such assay is 20 IU of IL-1 biological activity.

Detection of IL-1 beta in immunohistochemistry.

Presentation:Each vial contains 1 ml of antibodies with concentration 1 mg/ml, in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% of sodium azide as preservative. Store at -20C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Material safety note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1%) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
