  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Monoclonal mouse anti-FK506 (Tacrolimus)

CAT#: RDI-TRK4FK42    $438.00/1mg    $375.00/mg 3+     Bulk on Request

Specificity: Mab FK1 recognizes conjugated and non-conjugated FK-506 with apparent dissociation constant Kd=10(9)M.

Mouse isotype: IgM

Application: Detection of FK-506-antigen in ELISA and western blotting FK 506 antien is a novel macrolide with similar but more potent immunosuppressant activity than cyclosporine. FK 506 is used for primary or rescue immuno- suppressant activity than cyclosporine. FK 506 is used for primary or rescue immunosuppression in patients after solid organ transplantation. Clinically relevant FK506 side effects are nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity, diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Most of these side effects are more closely related to FK 506 blood levels than dosage; therefore therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) of FK506 levels is a prerequisite for therapy. Whole blood is the matrix of choice for FK 506 TDM. The whole target level range aimed for in clinical practice is between 3.0 and   20.0ng/ml and depends on the patient's liver function, the type of organ transplanted and the time after transplantation.

Puricication: Purified by chromatography on protein A Sepharose. Purity is tested by electrophoresis.

Presentation: Each vial contains antibodies in 50 mM Tris/ HCI, 150mM NaCI, pH 8.0 containing 0.1% of sodium azide as preservative. Store at +4'C.

safety note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1%) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
