Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Presentation: affinity purifed goat IgG in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 5% trehlose (1mg/ml stock), 0.2micron filtered

IgG: Goat IgG

Reactivity: Rat,mouse, human

Immunogen: Recombinant mouse Ret extracellular domain.

Format: Liquid 1 mg/ ml

Applications: Immunohistochemistry: 15 µg/mL slide -mounted sections

Immunocytochemistry: 5 µg/mL

Western Blot: 0.1 0.2 µg/mL

Dilutions listed as a recommendation. Optimal dilution should be determined by investigator.

Specificity: This antibody has been selected for use in immunohistochemistry and for its ability to recognize recombinant mouse Ret in Western blot assays.

Storage: Antibodies are stable for six months from date of receipt when stored at -20 ° C to -70 ° C.The antibody can be stored at 2 ° -8 ° C for 1 month without detectable loss of activity.Upon receipt, antibody should be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20 ° C to -70 ° C in a manual defrost freezer. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: Immunohistochemistry: Antiserum was used on fixed tissue. Staining may be done on tissues dissected from animals that were fixed by vascular perfusion with 4% paraformaldehyde/PBS (pH 7.4) and followed by perfusion with a 10% sucrose solution in 0.1 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.2). This antibody was found to work equally well on sections of frozen as well as paraffin-embedded tissues.
