  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

see below purified and biotin conjugate

see laso polyclonals from the main list

Mab to Human LDL Receptor

(low density lipoprotein receptor)

cat#RDI-PRO61087, new cat#: 10R-L104a     $412.50/vial

-also available Biotin labeled cat#RDI-PRO61587, new cat#: 61R-L104aBT   $517.00/1ml

Clone                                        IgG-C7

Category                                   Mouse monoclonal

Form/Purification                       affinity purified

Ig Class                                    IgG2bk

Immunogen                              Purified bovine adrenal cortex LDL Receptor

Clinical Application/

Specificity                              Suitable for analysis of LDL receptor function in patients with familial            hypercholesterolemia. The antibody recognizes an epitope in the region of re-peat #1 of the ligand binding region. Addition of 15 nM antibody results in inhibition of half-maximal LDL-binding (cf. Beisiegel et al. 1981).

Application                             · Immunoblotting  approx 1 to 0.1ug/ml with enhanced chemiluminescence detection

(due to low affinity of this antibody, extended incubation-overnight                                                                                      4 DEG C or longer is recommended)

Reactivity(species)                   Human, Bovine (not rat, mouse, hamster, dog and rabbit)

Dilution                                   dilute 1:5 with PBS, pH 7.4 for iimmunohistochemistry

Dilution Buffer:                        PBS with 0.5% BSA and 0.1% Na-Azide

Storage/Stability                     After reconstitution with 1ml distilled water, the antibody is stable for

a min 1 year when stored at 4 DEG C

Quantity:                               50ug (lyophilized) contains BSA and NaN3.
