Clinical Application/
Specificity 8B8 specifically reacts with the 85 kDa beta-chain of human LRP/A2MR which is expressed in a restricted spectrum of cell types. A strong immunohistochemical reaction is seen in hepatocytes, tissue macrophages, subsets of neurones and astrocytes in the central nervous system, fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells, and monocyte-derived foam cells in atherosclerotic lesions in the arterial wall. The antibody can also be used for the characterization of a subset of myelomonocytic subtypes of chronic and acute leukemia (CD91).

Dilution dilute 1:20 with PBS, pH 7.4 for iimmunohistochemistry
Storage/Stability After reconstitution with 1ml distilled water, the antibody is stable
