ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

-also available Biotin conjugated cat#RDI-PRO61565, new cat#: 61R-L107aHUBT $525.00/0.25ml
Clone 8G1
Category Mouse monoclonal
Form/Purification Protein A affinity purified
Ig Class IgG1
Immunogen Human LRP/A2MR
Clinical Application/
8G1 specifically reacts with the 515 kDa A-chain of human LRP/alpha AMR which is expressed in a restricted spectrum of cell types (for a recent review cf. Herz & Strickland). A strong immunohistochemical reaction is seen in hepatocytes, tissue macrophages, subsets of neurones and astrocytes in the central nervous sys-tem, fibroblasts, smooth muscle cells, and monocyte-derived foam cells in atherosclerotic lesions in the arterial wall. The antibody can also be used for the characterization of a subset of myelo-monocytic subtypes of chronic and acute leukemia (CD 91).
