ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
DESMOGLEIN (new cat# replaces old cat#RDI-CBL174)
-see also other desmoglein , desmoplakin and more antibodies from the alphabetical list
Mab to Desmoglein 1 + 2
cat# RDI-PRO61002, new cat#: 10R-D105a $412.50/vial Bulk quotes on request
cat#RDI-PRO61002X $2500.00/1mg (no BSA)
Clone Determination DG 3.10
Category Mouse monoclonal
Immunoglobulin Class IgG1
Purification SpAss-Protein A (recombinant)
Antigen "Band 3" polypeptide of isolated desmosomes from bovine muzzle epidermis
Specificity DG 3.10 recognizes desmoglein 1 +2 in desmosome- bearing cells; does not react with cells containing plaque-bearing junctions of non desmosomal type
Polypeptide reacting : Mr165 000 Desmoglein, "band 3" polypeptide of the desmosomal complex. Epitope recognized has been localized at the repeating unit domain ("RUD") of the cytoplasmic C-terminal part of the polypeptide.
Application Suitable for frozen tissue Immunoblotting (Western)
NEW: Suitable for paraffin-embedded tissue when using the MICROWAVE method.
Stability One year after reconstitution when stored at 2-8C
For longer storage aliquots should be kept at -20 Deg C.
Quantity 50 µg (lyoph.) After reconstitution with 1 ml distilled water, solution will contain 0.5% BSA and 0.09% NaN3.
Antigen Recognized in Species (tested so far) Human, bovine, rat, mouse
Reactivities on Cultured Cell Lines (tested so far) A-431, MCF-7, TR-146, PLC and various other human epithelial cell lines; bovine BMGE+H, BMGE-H, MDBK
Tumors Specifically Detected All epithelium derived tumors, notably carcinomas, and meningiomas
Working Dilution When reconstituted with 1ml distilled water, dilute further 1:10 with PBS, pH 7.4 for immunohistochemical application.
Incubation Time 1h at RT
