Immunogen                 Synthetic rat adrenomedullin 1-6, conjugated to BSA

Description/Specificity Adrenomedullin is a potent vasorelaxing and hypotensive peptide, originally isolated from human pheochromocytoma. Adrenomedullin shares some homology with CGRP (calcitonin gene-related peptide). The antiserum was raised using synthetic peptides as immunogens. The antibody does not cross-react with CGRP.

Reconstitution Dissolve the antiserum in 50 - 100 µl distilled water, and dilute further in 0.1 M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% NaN3.

Working Dilution 1:400 - 1:800 for immunofluorescence microscopywith overnight incubation at 2-8°C.

Storage At 2-8°C (undiluted) or at -20°C (aliquots)
