Immunogen Human melanoma cells
Clinical Application/ Specificity Antibody PAL-E shows a distinct positive
staining of endothelial cells in all brain tumors (astrocytoma,
oligodendroglioma, meningioma, medulloblastoma, ependymona). No reactivity with
normal brain, in cases of encephalitis or gliosis. The antibody reacts with
endothelial cells of capillaries, medium-sized or small veins, and venules; no
reaction with endothelial cells of arteries, arterioles or those of lymphatics
and sinusoids.
