Background: Antigen is based on phsophothreonine-proline motif, which is the site of phosphorylation of many proline-directed protein kinases such as MAPK and cyclin-dependent protein kinases

Immunogen: KLH-phosphothreonine-Proline amine (pT-P-NH2) peptide conjugates

Purification: purified with phosphothreonine-proline peptide on Sepharose followed by immunoadsorption with thronine-proline peptide on Sepharose.

Presentation: 50ug in 0.2ml (0.25mg/ml) in PBS with 0.02% NaN3

Storage: at 2-8oC, do not freeze

Specificity Reactivity: Recognizes protein containing phosthronine-proline motif, also react to phosphoserine-proline motif to a similar degree. The antibodies do not react to phosphothreonine, phosphoserine or phsophotyrosine under optimum conditions.

Applications: -ELISA (kinase assay), 0.5 ug/mL;

                      -Western blot, 2ug/mL (colorimetric), 1ug/ml or less with chemiluminescence;

Positive Control: Mouse brain extract for immunoblotting. Phosvitin or casein for Elisa.
