  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Erythrocytes,  H Antigen

Product Specification: mouse monoclonal anti-human erythrocytes

CAT#: RDI-M1392clb, new cat#: 10R-E114a   PRICE: $412.50

Code: CLB-Ery-H/1

Lot Number:

Tests/vial: 200

Specificity:

Ag.MW.: N.D.

Cell type: Human erythrocytes.

Reactivity: The monoclonal antibody is directed against the H- antigen (type II). On peripheral blood cells this antigen can be detected abundantly on erythrocytes and at a low density on thrombocytes. This monoclonal antibody does not react with monocytes, granulocytes and lymphocytes. This monoclonal antibody is not reactive with red cells from individuals with the genotype hh (phenotype Oh, Bombay erythrocytes). The reactivity of the monoclonal antibody is inhibited by synthetic H2 oligosaccharide, but not by synthetic H1 oligosaccharide.

Application: The monoclonal antibody is very useful for the recognition of malignant erythroblastic diseases.

Methods: Indirect immunofluorescence staining with analysis by FACS or fluorescence microscopy.

Clone: CLB-152  This clone has been derived from hybridization of   SP2/0 cells with spleen cells of a BALB/c mouse immunized with human erythrocytes.

Mouse isotype:The monoclonal antibody is of the mouse class IgM.

Purification: Ammoniumsulphate precipitation and gelfiltration.

Packing: Each vial contains 1 ml monoclonal antibody and 10 mg BSA in PBS.

Preservative: Merthiolate (0.001%).

Storage: Monoclonal antibodies should be stored below -18   Deg.C. Repeated thawing and freezing may reduce the antibody activity and should be avoided.
