  ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Divison of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Luciferase (see below 2 polyclonals, one to the firefly enzyme)
DATA SHEET: Goat anti-Luciferase (Firefly)

Catalog#: RDI-LUCIFERFabG    $406.00/vial

Also available  HRP conjugated: cat#RDI-LUCIFERF-HRP   $470.00/20mg vial

                       Biotin conjugated  cat#RDI-LUCIFERF-BT     $469.00/10mg vial

Size: 50 mg (lyophilized)

Antibody Concentration: 10.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)

Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M Sodium Chloride,pH 7.2

Stablizer: None

Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide

Antigen: Luciferase (Photinus Pyralis/firefly).

Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot) or ELISA (approx 1:20K dilution)

Reactivity: This polyclonal antibody reacts with luciferase isolated from {Photinuspyralis (firefly) showing a 61 kDa band under reducing and non-reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE . The enzyme catalyzes the ATP dependent oxidation of beetle luciferin to produce inorganic phosphate and light. Reactivity with other forms of luciferase is unknown. ELISA, immunoblotting

Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for   applications should be determined by the   researcher.

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with 5.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year from date of reconstituion.

Purity and Specificity: This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by mmunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti- Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified luciferase (firelfy/photinus pyralis. Cross reactivity against other sources of   luciferase are unknown.

Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics.

It is the responsibility of the user to comply with alllocal/state and Federal rules in the use of this product. We arenot responsible for any patent infringements that might result with the use of or derivation of this product.

DATA SHEET: Rabbit anti-Luciferase (Photobacterium fischerii)

Catalog#: RDI-LUCIFERabr    $406.00/vial

Also available HRP conjugated: cat#RDI-LUCIFER-HRP   $469.00/20mg vial

                      Biotin conjugated  cat#RDI-LUCIFER-BT     $469.00/10mg vial

Size: 50 mg (lyophilized)

Antibody Concentration: 10.0 mg/ml (by UV absorbance at 280 nm)

Buffer: 0.02 M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15 M

Sodium Chloride,pH 7.2

Stablizer: None

Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide

Antigen: Luciferase (photobacterium fischerii).

Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot) or ELISA

Reactivity: This polyclonal antibody reacts with luciferase isolated from Photobacterium fischerii showing an 80 kDa band under non-reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE and a 40 kDa band when reduced. The enzyme is composed of two subunits, a and B, and forms an a-B dimer with reduced flavin. Luciferase catalyzes the oxidation of reduced flavin and a long chain aldehyde by molecular oxygen to yield FMN, the corresponding acid, H2O and light. Reactivity with the firefly form is unknown. ELISA, immunoblotting

Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for applications should be determined by the researcher.
