Antigen: Bovine Milk lactoperoxidase

Activity: Reacts with lactoperoxidase (LPO) isolated from bovine milk showing a 78kDa band under non-reducing conditions of SDS-Page. LPO from milk is identical to the lacrimal and salivary form of the enzyme. LPO catalyzes the hydrogen peroxide oxidation of iodide and is used in labeling proteins with radioiodine. The antibody facilitate studies involving LPO, including membrane analysis. Reactivity with other species is unknown.

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with 5.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year from date of reconstitution.
