ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
Catalog Number: RDI-ALS24312 $312.00/100ug
RDI-ALS24312X $1875.00/1mg
Lot Number:
Quantity: 100ug in 100 ul (1 mg/ml) in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Description: Hippostasin, also known as KLK11, is a kallikrein-like serine protease, which has two alternatively spliced isoforms, brain-type and prostate-type. Hippostasin plays a role in the prostate, including reproductive and/or tumorigenic functions. Elevated serum levels of hK11 were found in 70% of women with ovarian cancer and in 60% of men with prostate cancer. Analysis of the KLK11 biomarker in serum may aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of ovarian and prostatic carcinoma.
Host Species: Rabbit
Specificity: Reacts with residues 68-82 [YIVHLGQHNLQKEEG] of the 35 kDa human hippostasin/KLK11protein. Cross reactivity to mouse and rat: 86% sequence identity.
Applications: Western blot - Use at 1:500-1,000 dilution. However, the investigator should determine the optimal dilution for a specific application such as immunohistochemistry.
Format: Affinity purified IgG
Storage: Maintain at +2-8°C for 3 months or at -20°C for longer periods. Stable for 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
