Applications: suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot),ELISA and immunoprecipitation,

Background: reacts with the flavoprotein glucose oxidase isolated from Aspergillus niger showing a 160kDa band under non-reducing conditions of SDS-PAGE and 80kDa bands when reduced. Each subunit contains one mole of Fe and one mole of FAD. Glucose oxidase determinations are the basis of many "dip" stick based screening assays.

Recommended Dilutions: Not determined. Optimal titers for applications should be determined by the researcher.

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4'C prior to restoration. Re-store with 5.0 ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. This product is stable for several weeks at 4'C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot   contents and freeze at -20'C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1)year from date of reconstituion.

Purity and Specificity: This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by imunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti- Rabbit Serum as well as purified and partially purified glucose oxidase
