ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
Category Rabbit polyclonal
Form/Purification Rabbit serum
Immunogen Human gastrin 17 (Sigma, G3141) conjugated to BSA
Description/Specificity Gastrin-secreting cells are numerous in the antrum and a few are found in the proximal duodenum. The antibody can be used for the diagnosis of gastrin-producing tumors which are mainly found in the pancreas and occasionally in the stomach and the duodenum.
Reaction with Species Reacts with gastrin in most mammals.
Recommended Positive Control Antrum (antigen localization: cytoplasmic, extracellular)
Application · Immunocytochemistry · Immunohistochemistry
· Suitable for frozen and paraffin-embedded* tissue *no proteolytic treatment required
Working Dilution 1:50 - 1:100
Optimal dilution should be tested by serial dilution.
Dilution Buffer PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% Na-Azide
Incubation Time 1 h at room temperature or overnight at 2-8°C
Storage At 2-8°C (undiluted) or at -20°C (aliquots)
Volume 0.25 ml
For Research Use Only
Cat#RDI-PRO16028 $281.00/1ml diluted
cat#RDI-PRO16027 $438.00/50ul (undiluted, use 1:400-1:800)
Category Rabbit polyclonal
Form/Purification Diluted rabbit serum
Immunogen Synthetic human gastrin 1-34
Clinical Application/ Gastrin-secreting cells are numerous in the Specificity antrum and a few are found in the proximal duodenum. The antibody can be used for the diagnosis of gastrin-producing tumors which are mainly found in the ancreas and occasionally in the stomach and the duodenum.
Absorption with 10 - 100 µg gastrin 1-34, gastrin 1-17, CCK 8 and CCK 4 per ml antiserum abolishes the staining, while CCK 10-20 does not.
Recommended Positive Control: Pig antrum
Species tested Human,
cat, pig
Application · Immunohistochemistry · Immunofluorescence · Suitable for frozen and paraffin-embedded* tissue
*no proteolytic treatment required
Reconstitution Dissolve the antiserum in 1.0 ml distilled water, and dilute further in 0.1 M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% NaN3.
Working Dilution 1:5 - 1:10 (PAP) 1:2 - 1:5 (immunofluorescence microscopy) with overnight incubation at 2-8°C.
Storage At 2-8°C (lyoph.) or at -20°C (aliquots)
Quantity / Volume 1 ml (lyoph.)
For Research Use Only
Cat#RDI-PRO16029 $438.00
Category Guinea pig polyclonal
Form/Purification Guinea pig serum
Immunogen Synthetic human gastrin I, conjugated to BSA
Clinical Application/ Gastrin-secreting cells are numerous in the Specificity antrum and a few are found in the proximal duodenum. The antibody can be used for the diagnosis of gastrin-producing tumors which are mainly found in the pancreas and occasionally in the stomach and the duodenum.
Absorption with 10 - 100 µg gastrin 1-34 and CCK 8 per ml antiserum abolishes the staining.
Recommended Positive Control: Formalin-fixed paraffin sections of rat antrum
Species tested Rat (also human, pig, cat)
Application · Immunohistochemistry · Suitable for frozen and paraffin-embedded* tissue
*no proteolytic treatment required
Reconstitution Dissolve the antiserum in 50 - 100 µl distilled water, and dilute further in 0.1 M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% Na-N3.
Working Dilution 1:800 - 1:1600 using PAP, with overnight incubation at 2-8°C.
Storage At 2-8°C (undiluted) or at -20°C (aliquots)
Quantity / Volume 50 µl (lyoph.)
