ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
cat# RDI-CHONDabm-27 $406.00/100ug vial
Presentation: 100ug in 0.2ml (0.5mg/ml) 50mM Tris-Hcl, pH 8.0 with 150mM
NaCl with 0.09% NaN3
clone 9.2.27
isotype: mouse IgG2a
Antigen: M14 human melanoma cell extract
specs: recognizes human chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan. The antibody recognizes
both the processed 250kd core glycoprotein as well as a set of precursor
polypeptides (210kd, 200Kd and 240Kd)
Applications: -flow cytometry (human M21 myeloma cells as pos control)
-immunoprecipitation
-immunofluorescence of tissue-cultured cells
-EM of fixed cells
-in vitro inhibition of melanoma cell spreading and anti-proliferative effects
on glioma cells.

cat# RDI-CHOND6Sabm $312.00/100ul vial
Presentation: 100ul ascites
isotype: mouse IgG1
Antigen: M14 human melanoma cell extract
specs: Reacts wide a wide range of cartilage proteoglycans after either
chondroitinase (ABC or AC) or testicular hyaluronidase digestion. Native
proteoglycans do not react with this mab. Antibody binding to epitope is
successfully inhibited by disaccarides of chondrotin-6-sulafte. Recognizes
chondroitin- 6-sulfate (preferentially in clusters) of high density cartilage
proteoglycans of different species. No cross reactivity with dermatin sulfate,
keratin sulfate or chondroitin-4-sulfate.
Applications: ELISA: approx 1:100-1:5000
RIA: 1:100-1:200
Chondroitinase ABC digestion prior to antibody reaction is required for antibody reactivity. A dramatic proteolytic digestion of the core protein (ie, with papain or pronase) significantly educes the antibody reactivity.
-Optimum titer must be established by the end user

Storage: Store at -20 DEG C in aliquots. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles. At first thaw, tighten cap and centrifuge for 1-2 minutes 1000rpm to concentrate material in vial.
Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics.
Applications: ELISA: approx 1:400-1:3200
RIA: 1:50-1:6400
Chondroitinase ABC digestion prior to antibody reaction is required for antibody reactivity.
-western blot: 1:1000 with chemiluminescence detection
