RDI Divison of researchd Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

see also pure B2-microglobulin standard cat#RDI-CBL62020

or for bulk see human antigen list

PRODUCT CODE :RDI-CBL307    $438.00/1mg    $375.00/2mg-9mg

SOURCE: tissue culture supernatant

PURIFICATION METHOD: Ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by ion exchange chromatography

SPECIFICITY: The antibody is specific for human b -2 microglobulin

* Study and detection of b-2 immunoglobulin in myeloma and other conditions

*Development of assay kits when used in conjunction with RDI-CBL 306 since both antibodies recognize different epitopes on the b-2 microglobulin molecule.

PRESENTATION: Supplied as purified antibody in PBS containing10mM sodium azide

STORAGE: Purified monoclonal antibodies are generally stable for long periods at 4oC. However repeated warming to room temperature and re-cooling may result in a loss of activity and hence effective working titre. It is recommended that monoclonal antibodies are aliquotted upon receipt and then stored at -20C. After thawing they should then be used as a stock solution for up to 60 days. Dilute working solutions are best prepared on the day of use.

For research use only. Not supplied for use in human diagnostic or therapeutic procedures

Rabbit anti-human B2-microglobulin   (paraffin sections)

cat# RDI-B2MICROabr   $375.00

Presentation: Lyophilized immunoglobulin fraction purified from rabbit serum diluted in PBS with 1%BSA containing 15mM sodium azide. Reconstitute with 1ml of sterile distilled water , Ket set at least 1 hour, mix gently.

Specificity: Human beta-2-microglobulin.Traces of contaminating antibodies have been removed by solid-phase absorption with human plasma proteins. (other species not tetsed)

Antigen: Beta-2-microglobulin isolated from the urine of patients with tubular proteinuria.

Use: -frozen tissue No

-Effective on paraffin wax embedded tissue with trypsin digestion

Recommendations on use Immunohistochemistry: Typical working dilution 1:100 -1:200. 60 minutes primary antibody incubation at 25 o C. Standard ABC technique.

Positive controls: Kidney

Staining pattern: Membrane

Storage: Store unopened lyophilised antibody at 4 o C.Under these conditions, there is no significant loss in product performance up to the expiry date indicated on the vial label. The reconstituted antibody is stable for at least two months when stored at 4 o C.For long term storage,it is recommended that aliquots of the antibody are frozen at -20 o C (frost-free freezers are not recommended).Repeated freezing and thawing must be avoided.Prepare working dilutions on the day of use.

Beta-2-microglobulin is present on the surface of most nucleated cells and its expression may be decreased or lost in malignancy. Beta-2-microglobulin is the major constituent of a subtype of secondary amyloidosis which is associated with long term haemodialysis. Clinical and pathological features of this disease have been characterised.Spontaneous fractures and destructive arthropathies (articular swelling and pain in an oligoarticular distribution, along with effusions in large joints)have been related to amyloid deposition.Amyloid has been implicated in most clinical complaints of beta-2-microglobulin related amyloid arthropathy where it is found in synovial biopsies taken from the involved joints.
