Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Background: High affinity IgG1 monoclonal antibodies specific for sialylated Lewis A, ie the CA19-9 epitopes are shown below. These antibodies have an affinity of 1-5 X 10 E09 determined by solid phase binding to CA19-9 mucin. These antibodies can be used in different combinations, depending upon the preferred assay configuration for the development of fast sensitive assays for the determination of CA19-9 antigen

-Clone C241 shows <1% cross reactivity with sialyl-Lacto-N-tetraose but both clones C241 and clone C239 Mab should only be used for capture abs.

-Clone C192 may be used in a homologous assay (tested using Streptavidin coated plates,  then using clone C192:Biotin conjugate as the capture Mab and the same clone C192:HRP conjugated as the detection antibody.

-example: add 25ul standard or sample + 100ul Biotin conjugated Mab C192 (Incubate 1 hr)

                 add 100ul HRP conjugated C192 Mab (Incubate 1 hr)

                 Assay range 5-400 U//ml, sensitivty achieved <1U/ml  (characteristics must be determined for each assay)
