ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
Catalog Number: RDI-ALS24283 $312.00/100ug
RDI-ALS24283X $1875.00/1mg
Lot Number:
Quantity: 100ug in 100ul (1 mg/ml) in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Description: Survivin is a human gene encoding a structurally unique IAP apoptosis inhibitor. Present during fetal development, survivin is undetectable in terminally differentiated adult tissues. However, survivin becomes prominently expressed in transformed cell lines and in all the most common human cancers of lung, colon, pancreas, prostate and breast, in vivo. Survivin is also found in high-grade non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. These data suggest that apoptosis inhibition may be a general feature of neoplasia and identify survivin as a potential new target for apoptosis-based therapy in cancer and lymphoma.
Host Species: Rabbit
Specificity: Reacts with residues 125-142 EETAKKVRRAIEQLAAMD of the human Survivin protein. Cross reacts with mouse and rat Survivin (88% sequence identity).
Applications: Western blot - Use at 1:500 to 1:1,000 dilution. However, the investigator should determine the optimal dilution for a specific application such as immunohistochemistry.
Format: Affinity purified IgG
Storage: Maintain at +2-8°C for 3 months or at -20°C for longer periods. Stable for 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
