ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
Catalog Number: RDI-ALS24277 $312.00/100ug
RDI-ALS24277X $1875.00/1mg
Lot Number:
Quantity: 100ug in 100ul (1 mg/ml) in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide.
Description: A novel gene PUMA (p53 upregulated modulator of apoptosis) is a target for activation by the p53 tumor-suppressor gene. p53 functions as a transcriptional activator, and influences p53-inducible genes that play a role in the induction of apoptosis in response to p53. Antisense inhibition of PUMA expression reduced the apoptotic response to p53, and PUMA is likely to play a role in mediating p53-induced cell death through the cytochrome c/Apaf-1-dependent pathway.
Host Species: Rabbit
Specificity: Reacts with a 17 residue sequence [EQHLESPVPSAPGALAG] found in the exon-3-encoded region in the human PUMA-a and PUMA-b forms of the protein. Recognizes both forms of the protein.
Applications: Western blot - Use at 1:500 to 1:1,000 dilution. However, the investigator should determine the optimal dilution for a specific application such as immunohistochemistry.
Format: Affinity purified IgG
Storage: Maintain at +2-8°C for 3 months or at -20°C for longer periods. Stable for 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
