Description / Specificity The antibody recognizes the nuclear pore complex (NPC) protein nup153 (190 kD), present on the inner aspect of NPC with attached filament bundles. It is also reactive with the soluble form of nup153 found e.g. during meiotic metaphase.
Antigen Recognized in Reactive with many species, including human, rodents
Species (tested so far) (mouse, rat), marsupials (kangaroo rat), amphibia (xenopus, pleurodeles)
Application Immunofluorescence microscopy on frozen sections (also after fixation with paraformaldehyde)
Working Dilution 1:5 - 1:10 for immunohistochemistry
1:30 - 1:50 for Western blot (ECL method)
Incubation time 1 h at RT
Storage At 2-8°C
Volume 5 mL (contains 0.09% NaN3)
