Monoclonal anti-human MHC Class II(HLA-DP, DQ & DR):FITC Conjugated

100 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 5% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA,

Immunogen: Purified class II from JY cell line
PRODUCTION: Protein A purified antibody from tissue culture supernatant was
reacted with FITC. Unconjugated FITC as separated from antibody/FITC conjugate
by desalting column. The antibody/FITC conjugate is at 0.25 mg/ml with a
Fluorescein/IgG molar ratio of 8.2.
STORAGE: Store at 2 - 5 DEG C. Freeze/Thawing is not recommended. Protect from light.
INFORMATION: Human MHC Class II (HLA-DP, DQ & DR) molecules are expressed on dendritic cells, monocytes, macrophages, and myeloid cells. MHC Class II molecules are heterodimers of polymorphic transmembrane a and b chains and generally bind exogenously derived peptides of about 10-17 amino acids. MHC Class II molecules interact with the T cell receptor on CD4+ T cells. Antibody TDR31.1 recognizes a monomorphic class II b chain epitope.

PERFORMANCE: 500K cultured Daudi cells were incubated 45 minutes on ice with 80 ul of anti-MHC Class II/FITC at a 1:50 dilution factor. Cells were washed three times, fixed and analyzed on a BD FACS Calibur. Cells stained positive (96% net) with a mean shift of 2.20 log10 fluorescent units when compared to a Mouse IgG1/FITC negative control Cat#RDI-MIGG1FTX2 $188.00) at a similar concentration. Binding was 85% blocked when pre incubated 10 minutes with 20 ul of 0.5 mg/ml anti-MHC Class II antibody (Cat#RDI-MHC2abm-1, new cat#: 10R-M100a)
