  MOUSE anti-RAT ANTIBODIES  

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

REACTIVITY : Rat gamma 2c heavy chain of immunoglobulin (determined by immunodot) The specificity of MAbs anti-IgG subclasses is determined in a range of optimal concentrations. Increasing of the first or second antibody up to an inadequate and unnecessary concentration can induce possible cross-reactions with other subclasses.

AVIDITY: On rat IgG2c: 4.8x109M-1 (Cf. avidity sheet for more details).


APPLICATIONS: Cf REACTIVITY

- CAPTURE ELISA: GOOD BINDING ON PLASTICS

- CAN BE LABELLED WITH PEROXIDASE, FITC AND BIOTIN

- CAN BE USED AS SECOND ANTIBODY IN IMMUNOASSAYS (2,3)

- CANNOT BE FROZEN AND THAWED MANY TIMES. SUSCEPTIBLE TO BE DENATURATED BY SUCH A TREATMENT

- CANNOT BE COATED ON NITROCELLULOSE (DOT-ELISPOT)
