INSULIN RELATED
ANTIBODIES
(anti-Human and others as indicated)
RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl offers a wide line of antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.
cat#RDI-TRK2L2-clone#
$438.00/1mg $406.00/mg 2-9mg $375.00/mg 10-20mg
Batch:
Clones: 1H8 , 2B7, 4H8
These clones have been derived from hybridization of X63-Ag8-653 myeloma
cells with spleen cells of a Balb/c mice immunised with purified human
C-peptide.
Isotype: IgG1, kappa for all clones
Purification: Purified by chromatography on protein A Sepharose. Purity is
tested by electrophoresis
Specificity: Non crossreactive with humna, bovine or procine insulins. Affinity
(Kd) >1 x 10 E08 for all clones
Reactivity: 1H8, 2B7 and 4H8 Mabs bind with equal efficiency to the human
free C-peptide and proinsulin molecules. Antigenic determinants identified
by Mabs are in the three-demensionalstructure generated by N- and C- terminal
regions of C-peptide separated by beta-turn at position 47-50 of proinsulin.
Application:
-Competitive ELISA or RIA detection of C-peptide in human serum without or after immunospecific removal of proinsulin(with solid-phased 1D6 or 1D3 Mabs to human proinsulin).
- Construction of a sensitive two-site sandwich EIA/ RIA immunosorbent assays for the measurement of total (including proinsulin convertion intermediates) human proinsulin in serum.
- Specific immunosorbtional (with solid-phase 1H8, 2B7 and 4H8 Mabs) removal of total proinsulin and C-peptide molecules from serum samples before the measurement of human insulin.
PRESENTATION: Each monoclonal is delivered in a sealed vial at a concentration of 1 milligram of murine monoclonal antibody dissolved in ml (mg/ml) of phosphate buffered saline containing 0.1% sodium azide. We recommend that each laboratory determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application.
Storage: Purified monoclonal antibodies are generally stable for period at 4 DEG C. However repeated warming to room temperature and re-cooling may result in loss of activity and hence working titre.
FOR IN VITRO RESEARCH USE ONLY. NOT FOR USE IN OR ON HUMANS OR ANIMALS- NOT FOR DIAGNOSTICS. Not responsible for any Patent infringements with use or derivation of these products. Contains sodium azide (0.1%)- observe proper precautions.
NOTE: Recommend centrifuging the unopened vial at 500-1000 RPM for 2 minutes to concentrate antibody in bottom of vial. If desired, you can add ul PBS containing 0.1% NaN3 to bring volume to 1mg in 1ml.
