-excellent for IP of murine insulin receptor, western blot (clone CT-3 better), histochemistry, affinity purification with peptide elution, Elisa capture(order without BSA cat#RDI-INSRBabm-C1X $500.00/100ug BSA free), tyrosine kinase assay (with ab mediated capture on microtiter plates, use BSA free formulation).
-recognizes 95Kda B subunit of insulin receptor. Epitope between aa - GRVLTLPRS within the c-terminal of intracellular portion of human insulin receptor B-subunit. Phosphorylation of the threonine residue within this sequence (corresponding to the known phosphorylation site thr-1348 in the insulin receptor( decreases binding by approx 100 fold. Reacts with autophosphorylated and unoccupied receptors as well as the receptor-insulin complex.
