Monoclonal mouse anti-human lambda light chains

Clone: 4La/2G9

This clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of a balb/c mice immunized with mixture of light chains of human immunoglobulin.



Specificity: Specific for independent constantly expressed epitope of lambda chain. Reacts with free and heavy chain-associated lambda chains.


Reactivity: Specific antibody titer is 1/100 000 by indirect ELISA.


Mouse isotype: IgG2a


Application: Detection of lambda-chains or lambda-immunoglobulin in ELISA. MoAb 4La2G9 can be used for coating and for labeling.


MoAb 4La/2G9 can be used for immunohistochemistry on cryostat or paraffine-embedded sections.

Purification: globulin fraction salted out from ascitic fluid and reprecipitated in semi- saturated ammonium sulfate solution.



Presentation: Each vial contains 1ml of antibodies with concentration 1mg/ml in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% of sodium azide as preservative. Store at 4 DEG C.



Material safety note: This product is sold as an antibody preparation for research purpose only. Standard Laboratory Practices should be followed when handling this material. Contains sodium azide (0.1%) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
