ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Monoclonal Antibodies to Human IgG Subclass Antigens  (M-Series)

CAT#: RDI-M1325clb, new cat#: 10R-I110a   PRICE: $462.00/vial

(also available HRP labeled, cat#RDI-M1328clb, new cat#: 61R-I110aHRP  $462.00/vial 1ml)

Product Specification: mouse monoclonal anti-human IgG1

Code: MH161-1M

Lot#: 1325-05K01

Specificity: The monoclonal antibody was found specific for IgG1 in the following techniques:

-haemagglutination inhibition experiments (1,2);

-agar-precipitation techniques, such as double immunodiffusion and radial immunodiffusion (1,2);

-indirect systems, such as RIA,ELISA techniques and immunofluorescence (1-7);

-Immunoblotting (1,5).

Reactivity: The monoclonal antibody is directed against an epi tope on Fc fragments (1,2). The monoclonal antibody does not cross-react with IgG molecules of other species such as goat,horse,pig,rabbit and sheep.

Applications:Detection of IgG1 molecules in indirect assays (1- 4).

                    Measurement of erythrocyte and platelet bound IgG1 antibodies (1,2,4).

                    Useful as capture antibody in IgG1 subclass ELISA (2,6,7).

Clone: MH161-1 (HP 6188) (1).

This clone has been derived from immunization of a BALB/c mouse.

Mouse isotype: The monoclonal antibody is of the mouse subclass IgG2b kappa (1,2).

Source: Ascites fluid of tumor bearing BALB/c mice.

Purification:Monoclonal antibodies were purified from ascites using ion exchange chromatography.

Packing: Each vial contains 1 ml with approximately 1.0 mg/ml antibody in 20 mM TRIS and 150 mM NaC1,pH 8.0.

Preservative:Merthiolate (0.001%).

Storage: Monoclonal antibodies should be stored below -18'C. Repeated thawing and freezing may reduce the anti body activity and should be avoided.
