ANTIBODIES

(anti-Human and others as indicated)

RDI Division of Fitzgerald Industries Intl  offers a wide line of  antibodies. Since no one antibody works best for all applications (neutralization, blotting, histochemistry, ELISA, etc), we offer many different types of antibodies to help solve this problem. Please inquire for other applications or types of antibodies not listed below.

Monoclonal Antibodies to Human IgG Subclass Antigens  (M-Series)

Product Specification: mouse monoclonal anti-human IgG3

Code: MH163-1M

Lot#: 1270-06-01

Cat#: RDI-M1270clb, new cat#: 10R-I120a  Price: $313.50/vial

Specificity: The monoclonal antibody was found specific for IgG3 in the following techniques:

-haemagglutination inhibition experiments (1,2);

-agar-precipitation techniques,such as double immunodiffusion (2);

-indirect systems, such as RIA,immunofluorescence and ELISA techniques;

-immunoblotting (5,9).

Reactivity: The monoclonal antibody is directed against an epi tope on F(ab')2 fragments (Hinge-region) of IgG3 molecules (1,2,8). The monoclonal antibody does not cross-react with IgG molecules of other species such as goat,horse, pig,rabbit and sheep.

Applications:Detection of IgG3 molecules in indirect assays such as ELISA, fluorescence and RIA (1-7). Measurement of erythrocyte bound IgG3 antibodies. Useful as capture antibody in IgG3 subclass ELISA (1,2,4,6,7).

Clone: MH163-1 (HP 6095) (1).

This clone has been derived from immunization of a BALB/c mouse.

Mouse isotype: The monoclonal antibody is of the mouse subclass IgG1 kappa.

Source: Ascites fluid of tumor bearing BALB/c mice.

Purification:Monoclonal antibodies were purified from ascites using ion exchange chromatography,followed by affinity chromatography.

Packing: Each vial contains 1 ml with approximately 1.0mg/ml antibody in 20mM TRIS and 150 mM NaC1, pH 8.0.

Preservative:Merthiolate (0.001%).

Storage: Monoclonal antibodies should be stored below -18'C. Repeated thawing and freezing may reduce the anti body activity and should be avoided.
