Source Material:  Pooled Human Serum/plasma

Presentation: Supplied lyophilized from 0.02M NH4HCO3. May contain traces of buffer salts. The use of a buffered solution containing physiological levels of saline may aid complete dispersion of the product upon reconstitution.

Specification:  Nominally >98% purity

Analysis: Cellulose acetate electrophoresis shows on band only, indicating B1 electrophoretic mobility

                 SDS-Page shows a tigght cluster of bands, corresponding to a molecular weight of approx 77,000. Dimer may appear under certain conditions.

                -Sodium, Iron, chloride ion determination y Kodak Ektachem method shows <10mg.g sodium, <15mg/g chloride and <0.03mg/g iron

               -Endotoxin level by LAL test < 1.0 Eu/mg

               -Moisture content as determined by Karl Fisher titration < 5%

Disease state testing: Serum/plasma is donor tested and certified negative for HIV 1 and 2 antibodies, Hepatitis B surface antigen and HCV antibodies

Storage:  2-8 DEG C
