Source material: Prepared from human heart tissue.

Product presentation: Supplied frozen liquid in 0.025M Tris buffer pH 7.5, containing 0.15M NaCl and 0.1% NaN3.

Specification: part pure  10,000-50,000 ng/ml as specified

                     Producty contains Troponin I/T/C complex

Analysis: Blotting experiments indicate that the Troponin I is present as the Troponin I/T/C complex

              SDS-PAGE shows the other major component to be albumin

              Troponin I content determined by Stratus II

Disease state testing: Starting material is tested and found negative for HIV 1 and 2 antibodies, Hepatitis B surface antigen and HCV antibodies.
