Presentation Supplied lyophilised from 0.02M Ammonium Bicarbonate. May contain traces of buffer salts. The use of a buffered solution containing physiological levels of saline may aid complete dispersion of the product upon reconstitution.

Source Material             Pooled Human serum/plasma.

Composition

Specification                  > 90% Purity.

Testing Serum/plasma is donor tested and certified negative for HIV 1 and 2 antibodies, Hepatitis B surface antigen and HCV antibodies.

Analysis Cellulose          acetate electrophoresis shows a band with Beta-1 electrophoretic mobility.

SDS-PAGE shows a    major band, corresponding to a molecular weight of approx. 45kD (corresponding to the half molecular  subunit).

Identity confirmed by RID.

Protein determination by the method of Lowry and Optical Density at 280nm.

Storage                           2 - 8ºC.
