Source material: Seminal fluid.

Product presentation: Supplied as a solution in 0.05M phosphate buffer pH 7.5, containing 0.15M NaCl and 0.09% NaN3.   Supplied sterile filtered.

Specification: >96% Purity.

0.5-5mg PSA per ml.

Analysis: Cellulose acetate electrophoresis shows one band only, indicating * electrophoretic mobility.

SDS-PAGE shows a tight cluster of bands, corresponding to a molecular weight of approx. 30,000.

Quantitative (and qualitative) analysis by radial immunodiffusion (RID).

Protein determination by the method of Lowry 280nm and OD = 1.6. 1cm; 0.1%

Disease state testing: Starting material is tested and found negative for HIV 1 and 2 antibodies, Hepatitis B surface antigen and HCV antibodies.

Storage: 2 - 8oC. DO NOT FREEZE
