Murine/Rat Cytokine/Growth Factor/Chemokines Sample Spec sheets (subject to change without notice):

DATA SHEET:recombinant MURINE MACROPHAGE COLONY STIMULATING FACTOR

M-CSF is a potent hematopoietic factor produced by a variety of cells including lymphocytes, monocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, myoblasts and osteoblasts. It is a key regulator of cellular proliferation, differentiation, and survival of blood monocytes, tissue macrophages and their progenitor cells. M-CSF has been shown to play important roles in modulating dermal thickness, and male and female fertility. M-CSF is clinically used in the treatment of infection, malignancies and atherosclerosis. It facilitates hematopoietic recovery after bone marrow transplantation. The human is reactive in murine systems, but the murine molecule exhibits no activity on human cells. This recombinant murine M-CSF is a 36.4 kDa homodimeric protein containing two 156 amino acid polypeptide subunits.

Catalog#: RDI-3152

Package: $231.00/package   $219.00/package 2+

Mini-Pack:cat#RDI-3152p $94.00/2ug    Bulk quotes on request

Package Size: 10 micrograms

Supplied: Lyophilized protein from 5mm Tris,pH8.0 + 100mM NaCl. no additive/carrier.

Source: E. Coli

Purity: >98% by SDS-Page analysis. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) of murine M-CSF.

Reconstitution: First tighten cap and gently tap on table or centrifuge 10 seconds 1000RPM to settle contents in vial. The lyophilized G-CSF is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers. The lyophilized protein SHOULD be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Allow to set at least 30 minutes at 4 DEG C , tighten cap and rotate to reconstitute any material on sides of vial. If desired, you can centrifuge at 1000 rpm for 1 minute to concentrate volume in bottom of vial. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored at 4 DEGC for up to 1 week or at -20 DEG C for future use.

Note:If this material is not to be used for coating or labeling (or other applications requiring carrier free material), the addition of 0.1% BSA or dilution in sterile culture media is recommended to enhance stability and minimize absorption to vial.

Storage: The lyophilized powder, though stable at room temperature for a few weeks, is best stored dessicated dessicated at -20 DEG C. Reconstituted M-CSF should be stored in working aliquots at -20 DEG C. Avoid   Frequent Freeze-THAW Cycles.

Reactivity: The Ed50 as determined by the dose dependent stimulation of the proliferation of M-NFS-60 cells is <1ng/ml,which yields a specific activity of >1 million units/mg.
