Human Cytokine/Growth Factor/Chemokines Sample Spec sheets (subject to change without notice):

Recombinant Human SDF1B

Description: Stromal Cell-Derived Factor-lb(SDF1B) is a recently discovered protein belonging to the a-chemokine (C-X-C) family of cytokines. Human SDF1B is an 8.5 kDa protein containing 72 amino acid residues.

CAT#: RDI-3029

Quantity: 10 ug/vial

Price: $235.00/package      $219.00/package 2+

           mini-pack cat#RDI-3029p  $94.00/2ug    inquire for bulk

Source: E. coli

Formation: Lyophilized protein with no additives.

Stability: The lyophilized SDF1B, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated below 0'C. Reconstituted human SDF1B can be stored at 4' or frozen in working aliquots at -20'C.

Note:If this material is not to be used for coating or labeling (or other applications requiring carrier free material), the addition of 0.1% BSA to dilution buffers or dilution in sterile culture media is recommended to enhance stability and minimize absorption to vial. Ideally, maintain stock >10ug/ml.

Purity: Greater than 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1 ng per ug of SDF1B.

Reconstitution: The lyophilized SDF1B is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers. The lyophilized protein can be reconstitued in water to a concentration of 0.1-1 mg/ml. It is recommended that further dilutions be made into buffer containing carrier protein or medium containing serum.

Biological Activity: Human SDF1B produced a 20-fold increase in chemotaxis at 80 ng/ml compared to the medium   control in an assay using human peripheral T   cells activated with PHA and IL-2.
Concentration Range for most in vitro applications: 0.1-1 mg/ml. (for an article on antibodies used to stimulate T cell click on T cell Stimulation)

Concentration Range for most in vitro applications: 0.1-1 mg/ml.
