Murine/Rat Cytokine/Growth Factor/Chemokines Sample Spec sheets (subject to change without notice):

DATA SHEET:recombinant Mouse MIP-3 Beta (CCL19)

-Macrophage inflammatory protein- 3 beta (MIP-3 beta)also known as Exodus-3 and ELC, is a CC chemokine that is chemotactic towards T and B lymphocytes and myeloid progenitor cells but not towards monocytes and granulocytes. MIP-3 beta shares the CCR7 receptor with Exodus-2. It also plays an important role in the inflammatory response of human T cells and tissue macrophages. Recombinant Murine MIP-3 beta is a 9.2 kDa protein, containing 83 amino acid residues.

Supplied: Lyophilized powder with no additives.

Source: E. Coli

Purity: >98% by SDS-Page and HPLC analysis. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1ng per ug (1EU/ug) of MIP-3 beta

Reconstitution: At first use, tighten cap, genetly tap on counter or centrifuge 1 minute 1000 rpm to concentrate powder in bottom of vial. The lyophilized MIP-3B should then be reconstituted isterile DI water to a concentration of 0.1- 1mg/ml. Allow to set at least 30 minutes at 4 DEG C, Mix well. If desired, centrifuge for 1-2 minutes at 1000 rpm to concentrate material in vial. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored at 4 DEG C for 1 week or -20 DEG C for future use.

Note:If this material is not to be used for coating or labeling (or other applications requiring carrier free material), the addition of 0.1% BSA to later dilution buffers or dilution in sterile culture media is recommended to enhance stability and minimize absorption to vial. Ideally, maintain stock >10ug/ml.

Storage: The lyophilized powder is stable at room temperature for a few weeks but it is best stored desiccated at - 20 DEG C. Reconstituted MIP-3B should be stored in working aliquots at -20 DEG C. AVOID FREQUENT FREEZE THAW CYCLES.

Reactivity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human mature dendritic cells using a concentration range of 10.0-100.0 ng/ml.

Precautions: For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or animals or for diagnostics.  It is the responsibility of the user to comply with all local/state and Federal rules in the use of this product. We are not responsible for any patent infringements that might result with the use of or derivation of this product.
