(murine Lipopolysaccharide-induced CXC chemokine)
-murine LIX (Lipopolysaccharide-induced CXC chemokine) is a novel murine
neutrophil-chemoattractant CXC chemokine. This recombinant murine LIX is
a 9.9kDa protein, containing 93 amino acid residues.

Supplied: Lyophilized protein from 10mM HoAc with no additives.
Source: E. Coli
Purity: >98% by SDS-Page analysis and HPLC analysis. Endotoxin level is
less than 0.1ng per ug of LIX
Reconstitution: The lyophilized LIX is soluble in water and most aqueous
buffers. The lyophilized powder should be reconstituted in water to a
concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Let sit at least 30 minutes, tighten cap, rotate
vial to reconstitute any material on sides of vial. If desired, you can
centrifuge the vial for 1-2 minutes at 1000 rpm to concentrate material in
bottom of vial. This material can be diluted into water or other buffered
solutions or stored at -20 DEG C for future use. It is recommended that further
dilutions of the stock be made into buffer containing carrier protein or
media containing serum.
Note:If this material is not to be used for coating or labeling (or
other applications requiring carrier free material), the addition of 0.1%
BSA to dilution buffers or dilution in sterile culture media is recommended
to enhance stability and minimize absorption to vial. Ideally, maintain stock
>50ug/ml.
Storage: The lyophilized powder, though stable at room temperature, is best
stored desiccated below 0 DEG C. Reconstituted LIX should be stored in working
aliquots at -20 DEG C. Avoid Frequent Freeze-THAW Cycles.
Reactivity: The murine LIXM biological activity was determined by a chemotaxis
assay using human neutrophils. Significant chemotaxis was achieved at a
concentration of 0.1-1.0ng/ml.
Precautions:For In vitro research Use Only. Not for use in or on humans or
animals orfor diagnostics. It is the responsibility of the user to
comply with all local/state and Federal rules in the use of this product.
We are not responsible for any patent infringements that might result with
