Murine/Rat Cytokine/Growth Factor/Chemokines Sample Spec sheets (subject to change without notice):

DATA SHEET:  recombinant MURINE MCP-2

-murine MCP-2 (Monocyte Chemotactic Protein-2) plays an important role in inflammatory response of blood monocytes. This recombinant murine MCP-2 is an 8.5kDa protein containing 74 amino acid residues.

Catalog#: RDI-2514

Package Size: 20 micrograms $231.00/vial   $219.00/package 2+ BULK ON REQUEST

                       Mini-Pack: cat#RDI-2514P $94.00/5ug             -inquire for custom sizes/bulk packaging

Supplied: Lyophilized protein with no additives.

Source: E. Coli

Purity: >99% by SDS-Page analysis and HPLC analysis. Endotoxin level is less than 0.1ng per ug (1EU/ug) of murine MCP-2

Reconstitution: The lyophilized MCP-2 is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers. The lyophilized powder should be reconstituted in water or buffer to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. Let sit at least 30 minutes, tighten cap, rotate vial to reconstitute any material on sides of vial. If desired, you can centrifuge the vial for 1-2 minutes at 1000 rpm to concentrate material in bottom of vial. This material can be diluted into water or other buffered solutions or stored at 4 DEG C for up to 1 week or at -20 DEG C for future use. It is recommended that further dilutions of the stock be made into buffer containing carrier protein or media containing serum.

Storage: The lyophilized powder is stable at room temperature for a few weeks but it is best stored desiccated at -20 DEG C. Reconstituted MCP-2 should be stored in working aliquots at -20 DEG C. Avoid Frequent Freeze- THAW Cycles.

Reactivity: The murine MCP-2 biological activity was determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood monocytes using a concentration of 10- 100ng/ml.
