Reactivity: Binds HUMAN IL-5.
Antibody is useful for neutralization of human IL-5 bioactivity. Approx
10.0ng/ml of antibody will neutralize approx 50% of bioactivity of
2.5ng/ml human Il-5 on TF-1 cells cultured at 10K cells per well in 0.1ml for
68 hours (no preincubation of antibody and cytokine).
Dilution: It is recommended that the antibody be diluted in PBS (with 1% BSA)
or medium (w/1-10% serum) used in your assay system. Failure to add a carrier
protein to diluted material will result in loss of activity.
Storage: Store frozen at -20 DEG C or lower. Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.
