USES

  • Inhibition of cytochrome P450 activity
  • Identification of cytochrome P450 isoform metabolic activity

Characteristics

  • 90-95% inhibition of specific cytochrome P450 activity
  • Does not cross-react with other P450 isoforms
  • Requires between 2-6 µL of antibody per assay

Description
These monoclonal antibodies are prepared from mouse hybridoma cells, and are specific to a unique antigen on the human P450 cytochrome. They do not cross-react with other human isoforms, and have been shown to inhibit cytochrome activity 90-95% using 2- 6 µL of product per inhibition assay. Cross reaction with P450 enzymes from other species has not been tested.
