Description:     Recombinant human vimentin (intermediate filament polypeptide)

Molecular Weight: 53, 685 (calculated from sequence) 57,000 (determined by SDS-gel electrophoresis)

Source: human, recombinant, expressed in E Coli

Purity: Greater than 95% (determined by SDS gel electrophoresis)

Application: -Protein standard in 1D and 2D SD

                   -Immunization

Isoelectric Point: pHI 5.3

Quanity: 250 ug lyophilized in 9.5M urea, 10mM Tris-HCL (pH 7.5), 2mM EDTA, 10mM methyammonium chloride ( protein con 1mg/ml after reconstitution as below)

Reconstitution: When reconstituted with 200ul distilled water ( final volume 250ul), will contain 10mM sodium phosphate pH 7.5, 6M UREA, 1mM EDTA, 2mM DTT, with a protein concentration of 1mg/ml (according to Bradford protein determination)

Storage: At 2-8 DEG C (lyophilized)

Store -20 DEG C after reconstitituion Avoid frequent freeze thaw cycles.
