Source: Prepared from urine of patients with chromic renal tubular proteinuria

Purification: Purification from urine was done using both gel filtration and DEAE ion exchange chromatography steps.

Analysis: SDS-PAGE and cellulose acetate electrophoresis show one band only

Immunologcal identity and human beta-2-microglobulin concentration verified by radial immunodiffusion

Electrophoretic and chromatographic data consistent with a molecular weight of approx 12,000 for this product

Protein determination by Lowry and E280 =1.65

Purity: >96%

Presentation: 1 milligram (Supplied in liquid format in phosphate buffered saline containing 10mM sodium azide at the concentration shown in the lot specific data below).
